Would you support the development of a “bionic” person?

I don't think it's my right, as a relatively able-bodied person, to decide whether or not bionic support should be used to help people with limited mobility and other disabilities. I remember a quote from Liu Ming (a Daoist priest in scholar who resided in Oakland for many years), he said that Chinese and Roman medicine started out pretty similar to each other--however, where they diverged is that Roman Medicine heavily focused on using bleeding treatments. They said that anyone who died from this treatment wasn't worthy of being alive anyway, so it was almost a self selected evolution. Chinese Medicine, however, decided that people who were sensitive and couldn't withstand invasive and traumatic treatments such as bloodletting may have other capacities that are helpful to the collective. Thus, people, in all of their physical, mental, and spiritual iterations should be supported to live their best lives!
